Wow.

I now have LaTeX on my computer. I need to learn to use it, but it makes me happy. It took about half of forever to install, though.

I wrote close to half a page on the potential influence of Stems on my future understanding of spectroscopy. I'm impressed?

And now off to bed.

Edit: Has anyone encountered "Mathematicians do it in LaTeX" in any of those "X do it in Y" lists? It occurred to me sometime last year. I can't believe that someone else wouldn't have had a similar train of thought.

A google search didn't turn up any hits. But I know that I've said it and heard it said.

As for learning LaTeX, The Not So Short Guide to LaTeX was a great resource for me when I learned LaTeX. I'll see if I can dig up any of the other references I used. If you have questions I'm willing to try answering them, although I am not a LaTeX guru.

Another convert ... excellent!

If you ever need any help that you can't seem to get out of a book, I might be able to help you. I bothered Vrable enough before he left that I think I know my way around latex fairly well.
