(no subject)

In the journalism room, but not in class, thank heavens! The paper came out today, and I must say it looks good, even though I see some iffy spots. Still, those are mostly content and not obvious unless you read it. It should be good--I was there late last night, mostly working on this one writer's story. Grr. I'm going to wait to talk to her, so I'm not too harsh on her. I had to interview this guy for the other side and practically rewrite the story. Double grr. But it's out and it looks good, and we haven't had many complaints. And the picky English teacher that Mr. Ziegler listens to all! the time is happy with our design. Yay. And we don't do this again for 3 weeks, when we come out with 12 pages. I need to start planning the issue.

I should be doing my chem reading or my lab work. I will write my prelab this weekend. I promise. At least we have no labs due for a few days. YAY.

I never really appreciated Fridays until this year. I have 2 classes and I'm out at 10. And--best of all--no chemistry. I have to study, but that's not hard. I have not encountered a completely new concept in the 9 weeks that I have been in the class. Speaks volumes for my summer chem camp cramming.

I have to go to the dentist at 3 for a filling. Yuck. And I have to get some rest tonight because I'm taking the SAT's tomorrow. I love Fridays.
