I don't want to go back to school. I really don't. I like AcaDec, but there's so much to do and read and stuff, that sometimes it's just one more thing to do. But still. I like it. And I like the math. It's really fun. Trig was interesting, even if it was ages ago, and yeah. I like it.

I need to memorize the poems. I'll start with short ones and go on from there. Maybe start with that "Tropics" one. I have a speech to write, too. At least I seem to be going ok on the impromptus. At least, I'm not bad. I need practice still, but I'm not bad. Good lines: "posterity is overrated" and "Utopia, as we all know, means nowhere." Grr. Those things can be hard. I need to learn to use concrete examples and imagery. Other people seem to be doing fairly well. I was sort of surprised by Glenn's, but I guess he's had plenty of practice.

I'm getting up at 5:00 tomorrow morning. And I'm going running. And I still have to summarize 15 pages of Spanish stuff, and I've vowed that I will neither do it in econ nor be late for econ. Eeew.

I have a viable speech idea, I think. Sunrise vs. sunset. I may take some time (maybe Wed., in 3rd or 5th; there's not much point in going home, with after-school stuff) and just wirte it out like an argument. I think I prefer sunrises. I don't know how philosophical I'll get.

It was fun today. I do like studying in a group, or with someone. And I got to go look at pretty pictures in Lord of the Rings books! And eat curry! And eat donuts! And stand in 30-minute lines to get told, oh, we can't help you, you need this form. That wasn't fun.

I need to finish my homework.

It was fun to annoy everyone with the techno Jamie gave me!!! Very fun. I won't do it quite this obviously again, though.
