That's the photo on my desktop. Don't you dare put it in my lj!
Jamie swears that someday I will write fanfiction. I could write a really awful one and force her to read it...but that would be far too painful to write. (probably. or else it's the difference between kitsch and camp.)
Wilfred Owen wrote some really cool poems.

Especally good are "Dulce et Decorum Est" and "Anthem for Doomed Youth", though I haven't read everything on the page, just some from Ms. V's class. They're pretty much all depressing, but they have a message.
I'll post ruminations on violence sometime later.
