Hey! Eep. ::yawn:: Eeee!
Feb. 10th, 2003 01:22 amWhooo! I actually won a bowling game! What was it, a score of 86? Pretty sad, but hey. It was rockandbowl, so no one cares. We had more fun coming up with crazy names than doing anything else, I think. First we did slightly weird ones, then we got into the fanfic. And then it got bizarre. Jamie was Tom's Lova and moved into Tom n snake, then Tom n Snape (eep), then 2 dollars, then 2 cents. ::suppresses really bad comment about 2 cents worth:: I was sexy nerd (we need business cards, Jamie), Elrond's Beoch (wrong guy, Glenn), Aragorn's Beoch (after I changed it), Aragorn n Legolas (eep) and back to Sexy Nerd. Glenn ended up as Hermione Stalker and Ashlyn ended as 5 dollars (I think). Anyway... enough randomness. We went to Macaroni Grill, and listened to someone sing an aria from Carmen, and ate calamari (yum) and wrote down quotes, and played the finger game, and I drove people home, arrived late, and managed not to get yelled at. On the way home there were interesting conversations. Apparently Elliot will discuss weird stuff if it's in theory. Jamie--"Bestiality is the way to go!" But how are stuffed animals counted? Paul was just werided out. And we discussed an AcaDec dating service. Yeah. Apparently there's still talk, a year later. Ah well.
Sooo. Science Bowl was yesterday, and we took home fourth. Just like last year. There was a tiebreaker like last year, too. I hope they inherit the luck next year; they'll have it tough, with no forseeable superstars. I find that I'm quite competetive at these things; and it didn't help that the Arcadia team was being $*#&$*@$*(#@&$*(#@ and stalling, obviously. And when I get mad, I can't think as well. At least Troy was nice about beating us. And we beat Pen and West head-to-head. That was nice. Sometimes it felt like it was so much on my shoulders, since I answered so many. I know that if you answer more you'll probably get more wrong, but it still sucked when I got stuff wrong. ::hits play on Jamie's 'You're not perfect' lecture:: I guess I was sort of hoping to do better than last year so it was a bit of a letdown. But doing the same is quite respectable. And we were on stage.
Church was good. And even if Mom sometimes sings loudly and off-key at least she and Isaac aren't being really annoying. No youth group today. And we'll be getting together with St. Francis's group next week. It'll be nice to see other people.
Ray's really coming. I can't believe it. Not this week but next. We'll need to start cooking veggie.
I organized the bathroom! Mom said I had to before Ray arrived. I need to get his stuff out of the car. And I have to clean my room before Aunt Delia arrives.
Chem starts tomorrow. I'm just glad it's not lab. I slept the entire afternoon after finishing the Lord of the Rings movie. 5 hours. Yay. I'm not that tired now.

need 3 envelopes w/ 3 university addresses for Mom's non-custodial financial form, tomorrow
