Dear Frances,
We are moving forward with the evaluation of your application. Unfortunately, one of the most important parts of your application is still missing, your mid-year grades.
In general, we consider your senior grades to be the MOST important grades on your transcript. We must see transcripts from your first term of this academic year (mid-year grades) in order to complete our evaluation of your file.
Please send us these transcripts immediately. You may have your school personnel send the transcripts via FAX to (909) 607-7046, but an official copy must also be sent via snail mail to HMC Admission Office.
We appreciate your interest in HMC and all the effort you have taken to send us your application materials up to this point. Please do make certain to send us the transcripts immediately so that we can complete your file.
Thank you,
HMC Admission Office
Um hum. Yup. Just what I wanted to hear. First the Carleton one, and now this. I'd better check out the others, too, and see if I need to bug any more. I'll call people and ask if it's there. This is just what I need. I gave it to him early, and look at this... I'd better check if they got my ElCo transcripts. I'll call. Grrr Mr. Schonberg. The second? third? time. XP
So. Different stuff. We went to the Indian Grocery and had dinner, and forced Glenn to buy drugs (just NyQuil) and went through all the nail polish. What Ray thought was black turned out to be topcoat. Oh well. It was fun. The meeting was boring, but dinner was fun. So yeah.
I guess I'm ok. No major chem crises (the test went ok--not 100 but probably an A--and I finally finished distilling my compound for qualitative analysis. And charted some cables.). No major drama going on. Journalism's reasonable. We need to plan the senior issue--I'm guessing convene the editors and start listing people. Sounds good. I want a good writer for mine.
Scholarships I'm being stupid on. Not doing them. I'll go to lunch meeting tomorrow. Sounds good. Or not... but i have to.
And I need to think about the Bible study I want to be doing. I just never seem to have time... I'll just have to make some.
