Apr. 16th, 2003 05:40 pmAh, time to stop playing solitaire and update. It's better for me. A chem test yesterday, which I really hope I did well on. I finished before a lot of people, which may or may not be a good thing. But if I don't know the answer, there's not too much that I can do to help myself by spending a lot of extra time on it. I reall do hope I did well, though. Second test so far. I've been doing reasonably well on labs and quizzes. And I basically understand the concepts, even if I've not been doing my homework.
So apparently wedding stuff is on track except for a horror known only as DEADLINE TWO DAYS BEFORE MY MOTHER'S WEDDING!!!!! Shit. Everyone's going to hate that deadline except for the nonexistent editor that has no APs, it's the week before those. I suppose it'll have to be the senoirs, mostly... and 8 pages? We can use 3 that were cut last time, so that would leave 2 news (Noraly and Livia), 1 opinion (Glenn), 3 predone features, and 2 sports (Carolyn and Robert). Or maybe 12, but everyone would hate that. Shawn won't get a page, he sounds busy... I don't think it would be fair to give juniors new pages, since they've got the stupid star tests. Ah well, enough journalism.
Ray and I saw The Talented Mr. Ripley last night. Freaked us both out. I didn't settle down for a good 15 minutes. Great movie, and they do neat things with mirrors in it. But freaky as anything.
back from chem, just finished making macaroni and cheese (the oven's heating to bake it... I made it, so it's my call to bake it or not! No one else ever takes the time)
