Mudd shows lurve in books

Thank you, Harvey Mudd, for giving me calculus review stuff to do. Thank you ever so much for giving me math stuff that I haven't done for a year. I am so, so, soooooo grateful for the opportunity to review all this stuff. ::rolls eyes::

I know it's good for me. I know that I knew it once and in that way it's better than physics. Which still sucks some, but sucks less after working on some mechanics with Glenn. Even though it seems like the most straightforward part of it. Oh well. Whatever. I still have math/science to learn in very, very little time.

The book of stories by Borges came yesterday, the one for the workshop at orientation, that the "advising group" is planning to study. Yay. Looks interesting. Now I have even more work to do. At least it's in translation; it would be good in Spanish, but waaay too much work. There are words I guess at in English, I'd need a huge dictionary to really get them in Spanish. And way more time than I have at the moment.

I just want something to happen...
I guess that's probably at least partly why I'm so excited to get the book. It's proof that something will be happening, pretty soon. Now if my roommate info would show up... I know, it's not due for a week, but....

Yeah. I'm excited, anyway. Even though this will be so, so sad.

It's really useless to try to study math when you're IMing.
