(no subject)

PCH was beautiful beyond words (at least those I have right now) but I want to choke the 405 in all the smog I can find until it convulses in its death-throes. Driving down the 101, I realized that the only reason I was coming back is because it's where I call home. I don't like cities, and LA seems especially grungy. Smoggy. Etc. Not to discount the fun features (yes, Ray, malls, the downtown library, the pretty stuff that's there), it's just that what comes with is so much more attractive to visit if I want to see it. I can get beautiful beaches somewhere else... I don't think I'll be moving back to the South Bay, assuming I could pay to live there. Maybe Sacramento area. Or some town in the middle of nowhere that just happens to have a job.
