A classroom with chalkboards and a desk. A single student, a left-handed woman whose appearance verges on androgynous, is in the front right corner near a blackboard covered with an incomprehensible morass of chalky equations. Her hair and clothing are dark but not black, and suggest neatness and care.

A series of poses/events:
-she leans against the board, her arm covering her face and the chalk hanging from her hand, trying not to cry. Angry and frustrated.
-she has thrown a clear glass ball at the writing; the picture is taken as it hits the board and shatters, sending shards flying that scrape lines out of the chalk letters. She is still angry and has dropped the chalk, which breaks.
-the shards now fly in a sort of vortex, joined by slashed papers. Her expression now has an element of panic. Her hands have a few cuts and her hair is slightly mussed. She does not try to escape the storm but does not challenge it.
-she sits in the corner, her arms around her folded knees and her head down. The writing is gouged in lines, and the shards and scraps of paper surround her on the floor, along with the broken chalk. A few bits of paper stick to her hair.
-the room, immaculate, covered with different incomprehensible lines. The student stands at the board, again neatly groomed, with the chalk in her hand, ready to write. A different stack of papers lies on the desk.

I don't expect anything like this to materialize. It would be technically difficult and there would be safety issues.

I don't know how to write a happy ending for these, exactly. But then I suppose that's not quite the point. It would be nice to have the talent and the opportunity to create these.
