Contra dancing (Mudd area)

I'm not under the impression that there's a whole lot going on this weekend (correct me if I'm wrong). Pasadena and Sierra Madre are not terribly far away, though La Verne is closer. Anyone who's interested can ask me or Mary for information. I can drive.

Contra dancing is a. not line dancing and b. not square dancing. That said, some of the moves are similar to those in square dancing (but you get to dance to jigs and reels, not country music) and the couples are arranged in long lines. If you're curious, just come... it's a lot of fun and there's always a lot of energy. It's easy to learn and there are lessons before the dance.

When: Slow Jam at 2pm; Dance 4 - 7 pm, 3:30pm instruction
