(no subject)
Feb. 23rd, 2003 12:01 pmChurch today. I haven't done too much this weekend, except clean my room. Ray and I did get up early and walk up to the Hermosa Pier, which was good. So I have stuff to do... let's see.
Homework: read three books! The Stranger, Waiting for Godot, Cry the Beloved Country. AcaDec: come up with some good book and a speech topic; I think sunrise vs. sunset would be interesting. Spanish: I forget. Read some short story as well as another chapter of Don Quijote. And maybe questions on a poem, "A Roosevelt" by Dario. No journalism, really. That I can remember. I'll need to figure out our editor problem sometime soon. And, as always, we need features ideas. It would be NICE if Ziegler would get GOING on the project so we could actually USE some of those stories that are written. Grrr.
Clean the rest of my room. Most of what I have left is junk (random stuff) and old papers. It needs to be done by Wednesday. Aunt Delia's coming then. I don't know what time she's flying in.
Get my Merck index from Dad's house.
Call Fatemeh. I don't know if she was at school at all last week.
I was thinking that this would be a good time to start that self-reflection thingy. Oh, Lent starts not this week but next.
Type that letter, show it to Elliot at school, and send it in.
Mom's book club invaded on Friday. One of the women thought that Ray was my boyfriend, since he was being all attentive and everything, but I had to tell her no--he'd make someone else a fine boyfriend, but not me. ::grin::
Two Gentlemen of Verona was pretty good. I saw Nick for the first time since he graduated, and Curtis was really, really good. He was so funny, and I didn't get tired of his humor. It would have been easy to overdo, but he was great! And it was strange seeing him do pelvic thrusts. Yep.
Ray's promised to teach me to dance. And we might go get our ears pierced together. We have an official neat freak in the house now, which is making me feel guilty and do more stuff. Which in the end is a good thing. We can see the entire table now.
Meh. I'm sure I have more to say but Isaac wants the computer.
He and Mom were being so annoying in church! Seriously... can't he even sit up straight and at least act respectful? It's really annoying when he sprawls there, and grrrr.
