Eh. My journal looks ugly right now, but I really can't mess around too much more; I have physics, a case study writeup, discrete, and hum. Not all for tomorrow, but within the next two days. PFD was painful today. I hated fitness testing in high school and it wasn't fun here, especially since it highlighted what I haven't been doing. The running was slightly better than I thought it would be. I tried to remember Greece and forget that I was going around that track... it sort of worked. And now I have tai chi. Tuesdays will be interesting, if draining. And I have my schedule worked out--I'm auditing cs60, so that takes a load of work off and I no longer feel like laughing hysterically and despairingly at nothing at all.

I did talk to Petersen about physics--he basically said to keep at it, the intuition will come with practice. Which doesn't change the organization of the class--apparently relatively nonconventional and ignoring the standard separations of topics. Free-body diagrams and Newton's laws are mixed with kinematics, and momentum is introduced before force, and rotational [mechanics?] seems tacked-on. It's frustrating. I feel like the subject should be more comprehensible than I'm finding it, and when I have to carefully listen to discussions that everyone else seems to find basic I just want to throw something at the chalkboard and stalk out. I do like Petersen's style of doing recitation, though.

Physics quiz tomorrow and homework. Discrete to finish tonight (I hope).
